Miyu Yamashita reigned supreme

Miyu Yamashita displayed class and resilience in abundance to become the 2025 AIG Women’s Open Champion at Royal Porthcawl.

The 24-year-old from Osaka struck the front on Friday morning, saw her sizeable advantage reduced on the Saturday, but stood firm on the Sunday, holing putts at key times to land her first major title.

So why not re-live the best bits from an historic Championship – the largest women’s sporting event ever to be staged in Wales.
