A Lim Kim

Had never played a major championship prior to the 2020 U.S Open and was ranked 94th in the world at the time, but after entering the final round five strokes behind she birdied the last three holes for a 67 that proved enough to secure a stunning debut win.

World No 1 Jin-young Ko and American Amy Olson finished one behind Kim, the ninth Korean winner of the title in 13 years.

Kim was T13 at Muirfield in 2022 and has recorded top-10 finishes in three of her last nine major starts.
