A Lim Kim had never played in a major championship prior to the 2020 US Women's Open and was ranked 94th in the world at the time, but after entering the final round five strokes behind, she birdied the last three holes for a 67 that proved enough to secure a stunning debut win.

Then world number one Jin-Young Ko and American Amy Olson finished one behind Kim, the ninth Korean winner of the title in 13 years.

Kim finished T13 in the AIG Women's Open at Muirfield in 2022 and has recorded a total of four top-10 finishes in majors.

Kim found three birdies in the final four holes to hold off Nelly Korda and win the 2025 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, the LPGA season opener.
