Akie Iwai

Akie and her twin sister Chisato are both in the field for the AIG Women's Open once again, having retained their places in the world's top 50 ahead of the cut-off on 8 July.

Akie Iwai is now a five-time winner on the LPGA Tour of Japan, with four of those successes coming since last year's AIGWO - two in consecutive weeks in September 2023 before further victories in May and June of this year.

Iwai also managed a highly impressive T11 finish on her Championship debut at Walton Heath in 2023.
