After an extraordinary junior career, Pano claimed her maiden LPGA Tour title on her 19th birthday at last year’s ISPS Handa World Invitational. She turned 20 two days before the 2024 AIG Women’s Open got under way.
Pano was only seven when she featured in the 2013 documentary film ‘The Short Game’, which profiled eight entrants in the 2012 US Kids Golf World Championship.
As well as enjoying repeated success in that event, Pano became the first three-time national finalist in the Drive, Chip and Putt competition and, at 14, she was also the youngest player in the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur in 2019.
She also qualified for the US Women’s Open that year, while her LPGA Tour of Japan debut came in 2016 at the age of 11.
Pano began 2024 with a runner-up finish in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions.
