The winner of the Smyth Salver for low amateur at the 2010 Championship, Hedwall made her 13th AIG Women’s Open appearance at Walton Heath in August.

A veteran of four Solheim Cup teams, Hedwall is also a seven-time winner on the Ladies European Tour.

She is still waiting for a first top-20 finish at the AIG Women’s Open, her best finish to date coming when she won the Smyth Salver with a tie for 27th at Royal Birkdale in 2010.
