Charley Hull

Charley Hull

One of the most recognisable faces in golf, Charley Hull enjoyed a memorable week at Walton Heath in 2023, finishing as the runner-up to Lilia Vu.

The Englishwoman thrilled the home crowds as she moved into a share of the lead with 18 holes to play. An incredible eagle in the final round was arguably the moment of the Championship, but Hull had to settle for second place as Vu produced a phenomenal performance and stormed to victory by six strokes.

It was Hull's third runner-up finish in a major and second of 2023. She was second in the ANA Inspiration in 2016 and shot 66 in the final round of the US Women's Open at Pebble Beach to be Allisen Corpuz's nearest challenger.

Hull has won four times on the Ladies European Tour - the most recent victory coming in the Aramco Team Series in Saudi Arabia in November 2024 - and twice on the LPGA Tour.

She has been associated with Woburn Golf Club since she was nine, using the three courses there, two of them having hosted the AIG Women's Open, to hone the skills that have made her one of the world’s top stars.

Hull has made seven straight Solheim Cup appearances, from 2013 to 2024, and was also a member of the victorious 2012 Great Britain & Ireland Curtis Cup team.
