Kim surged up the Rolex Rankings in April 2023 when she won the Lotte Championship presented by Hoakalei.

Raised in New South Wales to Korean-born parents, she enjoyed an impressive amateur career before turning professional in late 2021.

She has three top-10s on the LPGA Tour since June, including a runner-up finish at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give where she was beaten in a play-off by Lilia Vu after beginning the final day with a five-shot lead.
