Hikaru Yoshimoto

A third-placed finish at the Suntory Ladies Open in June earned Yoshimoto a place at St Andrews. Two spots in the AIG Women’s Open were up for grabs, but a share of third was enough for Yoshimoto given runner-up Miyu Yamashita was already exempt.

Yoshimoto was a winner on the LPGA Tour of Japan last year, at the Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Ladies Yokohama Tire Golf Tournament.
