A two-time winner on the LPGA Tour, Jasmine Suwannapura finished runner-up to Sophia Popov in the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Troon in 2020, when a final-round 67 was not quite enough to catch the German.
Her LPGA victories came at the Marathon Classic, where she beat Brittany Lincicome with a birdie on the first play-off hole, in 2018, and then at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational alongside Cydney Clanton a year later.
In that the pair produced a closing better-ball 59 to finish six clear of multiple major winners Minjee Lee and Jinyoung Ko. She was also successful at the Ladies European Tour’s Hero Indian Open in 2013.
