Part of the United States Curtis Cup team which beat Great Britain and Ireland by a record 17-3 margin in 2018, then began the first of three spells as the world’s No.1-ranked amateur and the following April became the inaugural winner of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur on the eve of The Masters.
Within months of turning professional in 2019 she was joint runner-up to Jin-young Ko at the Evian Championship and after making her Solheim Cup debut and becoming joint top-scorer for the Americans alongside partner Lizette Salas, she lifted her first major title at the 2022 Chevron Championship.
Her third-round 64 enabled her to set a tournament record of 16-under-par for 54 holes and she went on to win by two from Jessica Korda. She soon added the Meijer Classic after a play-off with Korda’s sister Nelly and Leona Maguire, and won the Dow Great Lakes team event with Lizette Salas in July to continue her sensational 2022 season.
