Louise Rydqvist made her major debut at the AIG Women's Open at St Andrews in 2024, after winning the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship the month before.

The University of South Carolina student came close to securing an AIG Women’s Open spot in 2022, when she reached the final of the Women’s Amateur Championship only to suffer defeat to Jess Baker.

Rydqvist was also a semi-finalist at this year’s Women’s Amateur, while she won on the Swedish Golf Tour back in 2020 at the age of 19.
