Mao Saigo

Mao Saigo has won six times on the LPGA of Japan Tour – with the first five arriving in 12 stunning weeks between March and May 2022, alongside two second-place finishes.

This incredible run catapulted Saigo into the world’s top 20.

The 22-year-old has now started to make an impression on the major circuit, following up a T3 finish in the Amundi Evian Championship in 2022 with a T7 placing in the Women’s PGA Championship in 2024, alongside compatriot Hinako Shibuno.

Saigo finished T36 on her first appearance at the AIG Women's Open, at Walton Heath in 2023.
