Miyu Yamashita

Miyu Yamashita has really started to find her feet in the big events.

Remarkably prolific on the LPGA Tour of Japan, with 11 victories between April 2021 and November 2023, the Japanese registered three top-20 finishes in majors in 2024.

She began the year with a T17 placing in the Chevron Championship and followed that up with a T12 finish in the US Women's Open.

But she bettered both of those with a runner-up finish to Amy Yang in the Women's PGA Championship in June.

Yamashita performed impressively on her AIG Women's Open debut at Muirfield, finishing 13th in 2022, before a T21 placing at Walton Heath in 2023.
