Paula Reto won her first LPGA Tour title at the CP Women's Open in August 2022, following in the footsteps of her fellow South African Ashleigh Buhai who won her first LPGA event at the AIG Women's Open at Muirfield earlier that month.

Reto qualified for the LPGA Tour at her first attempt after finishing as the third leading individual at the 2013 NCAA college championship.

The former Purdue University student represented South Africa in the Paris Olympics and the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Her first professional victory came on home soil at the Sunshine Tour’s SuperSport Challenge in February 2022, winning the 54-hole event by a comprehensive 10 strokes.
