Takeda stormed into the top 50 of the Rolex Rankings earlier this year with three victories on the LPGA Tour of Japan in the space of six weeks.

Back-to-back wins at the KKTcup VANTELIN Ladies Open and the 42nd FUJISANKEI LADIES CLASSIC in April were soon followed by another success at the Bridgestone Ladies Open.

The 21-year-old also tied for 9th at the US Women’s Open as her fine form continued.
