Schmelzel’s best return on the LPGA Tour came in March 2024 when she finished runner-up at Blue Bay LPGA.
The former University of South Carolina student turned professional eight years ago and had seven top-10 finishes on the Epson Tour in 2018, and then was third at the LPGA Qualifying School.
