Tan made history by becoming the first Singaporean to win on the Ladies European Tour when she triumphed in the Magical Kenya Ladies Open in February 2024.
Then 19, it was Tan’s first pro start on the Tour after she qualified at Q-School two months earlier.
“I hope that [my win] inspires the junior golfers in Singapore,” said Tan.
“I want to see golf grow in Singapore because I am from there and it would be great to see the sport you love grow bigger and bigger.”
Tan made her major debut in the Amundi Evian Championship in July before making further history by becoming Singapore’s first Olympic golfer, at Paris 2024.
