Kawamoto returns to the AIG Women's Open having enjoyed an outstanding season.

Five years on from her maiden victory on the LPGA Tour of Japan, she claimed her second title on the circuit at August's NEC Karuizawa72 Golf Tournament.

That win followed a runner-up finish the previous week, while Kawamoto has also recorded 11 additional top-10s in 2024, moving her into the top 100 of the Rolex Rankings after she began the year ranked 296th.
