There were countless moments of magic during the AIG Women’s Open as the world’s best players showcased their talents on the iconic Old Course at St Andrews.

From drives to irons, approaches to putts, fans were treated to a masterclass as the AIG Women’s Open returned to the home of golf after 11 years.

Relive some of the highlights with our rundown of the best shots of the Championship.

Hyo Joo Kim

What better way to start than a hole-out on the 1st.

Hyo Joo Kim flirted with the burn from her tee shot but walked with a stunning eagle courtesy of a scintillating approach.

The Korean found the pin from all of 121 yards during the final round, jumping to three-under in the process and briefly threatening a push for the title.

Nelly Korda

Nelly Korda produced one of the reactions of the week after driving the 9th green on Thursday.

The world number one let rip on the par-4, sending her drive more than 300 yards to set up a birdie.

Remarkably, she got inside the group in front who were on the green and her response was priceless.

Charley Hull

The first round finished with a clinic in how to play the 18th from Charley Hull.

Hull's approach on the final hole skipped just past the pin and she tapped in for an opening-round 67 for the outright lead.

Jiyai Shin

The Road Hole has witnessed some moments of magic over the years and Jiyai Shin was the latest player to conjure something extraordinary on the Old Course’s most iconic hole.

Arguably the shot of the Championship, Shin tied the lead at seven-under late on Saturday courtesy of a spectacular bonus birdie.

Lydia Ko

Another special on the 17th arrived on the final day courtesy of Champion Lydia Ko.

Under huge pressure and with the wind swirling and rain beating down, Ko produced a gutsy approach to set up a par.

After her excellent par on 17, Ko cashed in on the favourable 18th with a priceless birdie which proved to be the difference and ended her eight-year wait for a major.

Lottie Woad

Smyth Salver winner Lottie Woad put the distance between her and the chasing low-amateur pack with a memorable third-round closing eagle.

Debutant Woad was two-over for the day heading to the 18th but holed out in some style on her way to a brilliant tied-10th finish.

Leona Maguire

The par-5 14th produced six eagles throughout the week and Leona Maguire can count herself seriously unlucky that she wasn’t number seven.

Her majestic approach seemed destined to roll into the cup but at just the moment she hoped they would emerge, the Old Course crosswinds were nowhere to be seen.
