St Andrews’ staging of the AIG Women’s Open was a celebration of the very best of women’s golf – cemented by the Championship winning a prestigious LPGA award.

The AIG Women’s Open was recognised by the 2024 LPGA Gold Driver Awards for providing the Best Player Experience during what was an epic four days at the home of golf, culminating in Champion Lydia Ko crowning the most magical month of her career.

While spectators and TV viewers were revelling in the world-class action on the course, the players themselves were enjoying simply unbeatable facilities in their dedicated Clubhouse.

One of the key aims was to provide a facility specifically for female players, and winning this award was confirmation of how well it was received by every competitor.
